Karito Kids Review

A few days ago I introduced you to Karito Kids and the wonderful ladies behind the Karito Kids concept. I hope you have had time to go and check out their website.

One of the things that I love the most about this company is that it gives our kids the opportunity to make a difference for children all over the world. When you check out their website you will see a section for “play“. What makes this different than any other site that includes games for kids, is that on this one your children will earn “change” which they can then donate to the cause of their choice in the charity section of the site. It was no surprise to me when Rylee picked “Providing Milk and Eggs for School Kids” in China! Hanna has now donated twice and picked “Preventing Disease with Mosquito Nets” also not all that surprising since she is a major mosquito magnet. (Also appropriate since next week is Mosquito Awareness Week!)

There are currently 6 Karito Kids including the one we were sent to review, Wan Ling. I am so impressed with the quality that goes into making these 21″ dolls. Karito Kids are 11 year old girls who are all culturally unique and each has their own area of interest. Wan Ling cares for endangered Pandas in China and the book that comes with her is written as a mystery, suspense type story. My 9 year old LOVED this story! But now she desperately wants Piper (pictured above). Piper is from Australia loves to surf and loves dolphins (and so does Hanna).

Not only were we fortunate enough to receive Ling for review but they also sent Rylee their “Ling goes to Japan” Travel Charmer Soft Doll for her birthday! The Travel Charmers are super cute and small enough to take anywhere.

They also carry a very nice selection of fashion and accessories for the World Collection Dolls in their online store like clothing for a princess party, play date or even a slumber party!

Shutterfly Review and Giveaway – 6/18

The process couldn’t have been easier, but I was a bit worried about the photo that I had available to submit. The background was pretty dark and I wasn’t sure how well they would be able to seperate her dark hair from the dark background.

Let me tell you that I could not have been happier about how this poster looks! It is the most adorable poster with excellent print quality and Rylee looks like she was really there in the castle! The poster was a big hit at her party and she absolutely loves it!!! Don’t you think it turned out great?

The Card Crate Review and Giveaway! 6/2

I was fortunate enough to recently be given the opportunity to try out The Card Crate for invitations to my daughters upcoming birthday party. The idea behind The Card Crate is that they will create your custom photo card and then you get to print as many as you need, from wherever you are and at your convenience!

It doesn’t get much easier than this! All I did was browse the site, pick out the card I wanted, fill out the information and upload my photo. In less than 24 hours (and really it was only a few hours) I received my finished card via email!

Types of cards that they carry include: Birth Announcements, Moving Announcements, Thank You Cards, Birthday Invitations, Shower Invitations, Save the Date, Holiday Cards, Graduation Announcements and Custom Designs. Check back often because they change or add designs at least every month.

Tutu Girl – 4/7

I think my girls are the only girls who HASN’T owned a Tutu!
Isn’t that sad??
