Puttin’ on the Bliss

puttin'ontheblissI must admit, I’m not one of those skinny girls with the perfect shape, like I had in high school, BEFORE kids ;)
I am not hugely over-weight, but some what I guess lol.  Anyway, to find a good pair of undies that I actually like and that are super comfy is extremely hard to find.  I like sexy, but really why do I need it?  I am married I have 4 kids, I guess my sexy days are over, or so I thought!
I don’t need see through undies to feel sexy, the hubby thinks I am sexy just the way I am.  (He’s a good man who wants to keep the goods ;)
I totally love Puttin’ on the Bliss.  Okay, these undies are OMGosh comfortable!  I seriously don’t have a bad thing to say about these at all.

Puttin’ on the Bliss is an apparel company committed to inspiring women to feel good & have fun!

Your clothing can play a major role in how you feel.  When you’re wearing something that is comfortable and looks great, it positively affects your entire day.  This is especially true of your most intimate and essential clothing items.  So, to help you start your days right, we’ve designed several collections of T-Shirts and underwear that are fun-to-wear!

You know you’ve discovered a Puttin’ on the Bliss product when you see our trademark hummingbird logo.  We chose the hummingbird because it is the perfect symbol for a life of bliss.  Hummingbirds fly free in search of beauty, spreading joy wherever they go, and they always get their fill of life’s sweetness.  To celebrate this lifestyle, there’s  Bliss Wear.   The line up includes sexy thongs and comfy tees with beautiful embroidery of our Bliss Hummingbird.

If you want to feel good and have fun, bring more color into your life!  It’s easy to do, even if your wardrobe is primarily blacks and greys.   You can get your color therapy with color me balanced undies.  They’re the first and only underwear created by a certified color therapist to include all the essential colors for your body, mind and spirit.  Try wearing a different color each day of the week to experience how color can revitalize and balance you.  They’re like ’Days of the Week Undies’ for wellbeing!

And because everyone can use more optimism in their life, we designed the Bliss Happens collection.   These ulta-comfy tees, tanks and yoga-inspired pants are proof positive that bliss really does happen!

Now, I have moments (okay, alot of them) that I get very depressed and I’m just out of it for a day or two.
I’m not going to say that wearing these underware make me feel all better inside, because I would be lying and I just won’t do that.  However, I will say that knowing that color therapy helps to make one feel better is great.  And maybe it’s just the way you think about it, I’m not sure.  I was able to review the Rainbow Collection, and in the Rainbow Collection I can pick which undies to wear for the day.  Like today ;) I’m wearing Blue…Read below to what each color means and if it makes me feel good as soon as I put them on, then I’d say they do the job!

RED:  powerful – passionate – energized

ORANGE:  exhilarated – radiant – sexy

YELLOW:  happy – focused – confident

GREEN:  refreshed – lovable – soothed

BLUE:  expressive – creative – serene

INDIGO:  imaginative – intuitive – aware

VIOLET:  awakened – inspired – enlightened

Color therapy is a widely accepted holistic practice that is based on the understanding that colors are light – our most important energy source.  Each color has a measurable wavelength and frequency that is known to have a great affect on how we feel.   Color therapy is the practice of utilizing the energy from color to restore balance and harmony to the body, mind & spirit.

The seven rainbow colors are the most essential, as each of these colors are linked to one of the body’s “energy centers” (called chakras).  By introducing these colors into your life on a regular basis, you can stay more happy and balanced.

Following are the benefits that each color has been known to provide:

RED resonates with the ‘Root Chakra’.  This chakra is located at the base of the spine and is your power center.  Red will improve your energy level so that you can take action.  It will help you feel grounded and secure and will stimulate your passions.

ORANGE is related to the ‘Spleen Chakra’.  Located at your lower abdomen to navel area, this is your pleasure center and affects your emotional wellbeing.  Orange energy gives you power to remove inhibitions and feel more joy.  For a life filled with fun and vitality, get plenty of orange!

YELLOW is linked to the ‘Solar Plexus Chakra’.  This energy center is above your navel to below the chest and rules self-identity.  Yellow is a great color for strengthening the immune system and improves your alertness and ability to concentrate.  This color is great for building confidence and lifting your mood.

GREEN harmonizes with the ‘Heart Chakra’.  Green has a strong tie to nature and provides a refreshing energy.  The color green helps to soothe your nerves and enables you to feel more loving and nurturing.

BLUE relates to the ‘Throat Chakra’ and improves your ability to express yourself, both verbally and artistically.  Blue is the color of purity and carries energy of serenity and beauty.

INDIGO energy is linked to the ‘Third Eye Chakra’.  Located at the center of the forehead, this chakra governs your inner-vision.  Indigo energy improves understanding and allows you to become more aware and intuitive.  It can also help you to overcome fears and be more imaginative.

VIOLET is the most enlightening of all of the energy rays.  It resonates with the ‘Crown Chakra’, which is located at the top of the head.  This is the chakra that connects you with univeral consciousness.  Violet strengthens your spirit and helps you align with your highest self.  This color can stimulate inspiration and help with meditation.

All of these colors have a vital role to play in your overall wellness.  Make an effort to welcome the rainbow into your life and see how great you feel when you live each day colorfully!
