“The magic of childhood and life’s simple pleasures is what Sweetbeets is all about.” We couldn’t have said it better. Sweetbeets, out of Toronto, offers eco-friendly letterpress cards, stationery and art at affordable prices.

Sweetbeets designer, Lisa Zuraw, mixes modern technology with old world processes to create her designs. Lisa’s original illustrations are first created with Adobe Illustrator. Then, using a vintage printing press, the items are letterpress printed in Canada. Letterpress printed cards are unique in that since the ink is pressed into the paper, you can see and feel the crisp impression that remains.

Being eco-friendly is of utmost importance to Sweetbeets – only 100% post-consumer recycled paper is used for the cards and envelopes! As the process to make the designs is a combination of old and new, the designs themselves have both modern and vintage qualities. We also love the color combinations that Lisa chooses.

Would you like to carry Sweetbeets in your shop? Since there is no minimum order requirement, boutiques of any size can easily carry Sweetbeets. Lisa’s designs are sold in over 80 boutiques in the United States, Canada and abroad. Visit her Etsy shop or website to see even more adorable designs!

Lisa also writes on her children’s design blog, ModEcoKids, where she focuses on handmade items composed of organic, vintage or recycled materials. Also see Lisa’s vintage finds at My Golden Goose!
