Philips Norelco wet and dry electric razor – Review & Giveaway!

It’s that time of year again, we’re sending our kids back to school! Some of you are sending your kids off to college! I am not looking forward to the day when my children leave the nest, but know eventually it’ll happen.
You need to keep your son equipped, not only with books and supplies, but he’ll also need the perfect shaver when he is running late for class because he was “studying” too late the night before.

Philips Norelco had them in mind while creating this awesome razor! They can give themselves a quick shave in the shower or literally on the way to class!

We were sent a Norelco wet and dry electric shaver for my husband to check out. My son is only 9 so we don’t have that problem quite yet!
Since my husband was in the Army he keeps a close shave, but it seems his facial hair is SO thick that NO electric shaver can give him a close shave, and believe me we have tried finding that perfect one with no avail.
I was quite interested to see if this shaver could stand up to my husbands stubborn facial hair.
As soon as we got it he plugged it in to charge it up. It took no more than an hour for a full charge. (I loved that!) He doesn’t like to dry shave because he’ll just break out in a rash. So he put his shaving cream on and went right at it. He was pretty impressed with the turn out. It gave him a really close shave, no nicks or rashes. His skin was kissable soft!!
He loved the fact that you can use it with water and shaving cream, and especially that it was cordless! How fast it was for him to get it charged and how long it stayed charged. He got a few good shaves from it with one charge.
He also liked the fact that it actually WORKED on his coarse facial hair. His hair grows back fast too, he can shave in the morning and he’ll have a 5 o’clock shadow by 1pm. It’s nice for him to be able to give himself a quick shave whenever he needs to.

All in all we absolutely loved the Philips Norelco wet and dry electric razor. It worked the way it said it did and gave him a really good shave. It beat out some more expensive brands he has tried in the past. This one is definitely a keeper!

I understand you mostly are all mothers of sons who are a few years off from college; however, many of you guys might be moms getting ready to let their kids leave the nest. We’d love to hear about how you are “grooming” their sons for college. What advice/tips are you empowering him with for when he makes that first leap into higher learning? What products are they making sure he has in his dorm? In exchange for your comments, Philips Norelco would love to give away a Philips Norelco electric shaver to one of our readers for their son to take with him when going back to school. In addition to life lessons and advice, dorm room essentials are a must and pro grooming tools, like Philips Norelco electric shavers and groomers guarantee your son is putting his best face forward on campus every day.

My tip is to focus on taking classes geared towards his major,

Find the balance between just enjoying the moment and place that you are in, and actually using the moment (i.e. classes and studies). It is important in life that you are able to do both.

My son just turned 3, so I won’t have to give him advice about his college days for a while. When I do, though, I will tell him to have fun, while keeping his grades up, of course. My college years were some of the best years of my life!
