HOW THE GROOBS NATION WAS BORN

I, Jason Fry, and my wife were in church – December 2009.

I was sitting and thinking to myself “Wow!!!
I can hear the thunder but I just hope I don’t see the lighting”………
Just kidding……………not really.  Anyhoo………..
December is the month when the church has their annual
giving drive to help those in need on a local, national and
international level.   Seeing a picture of an impoverished
child behind the speaker hit me hard.  I told my wife after
the service (because she gets mad at me when I try and talk to her
in the service), there is so much need in this world it’s overwhelming.
The thought is paralyzing.  Need is around every corner and in every country.
I told her I have to do something.  I said “Why don’t I create a shoe company
(yes I love shoes) with every pair of shoes we sell, part of the
proceeds are donated to a charity of the consumers choosing
AND we give new shoes to someone who desperately needs a
pair whether they live in Uganda or Houston, Texas.”  Need has no boundaries.

So what is this 50% of proceeds talk?  How much is that really?
In an effort not to waste your time with “Business Man Talk” and
for us to be on the same page…….depending on the style of shoe,
shipping cost etc, 50% of the proceeds equates to $6 – $9
per pair sold being sent to your charity.  We will keep you posted
